S-MM2H Requirements

SARAWAK MM2H (S-MM2H) Financial Requirements for main applicant 30 years of age or above, both requirements below must be fulfilled :

INCOME or LIQUID FUNDS REQUIREMENT FIXED DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT
Before submission, either income or liquid funds proof is required for **application only** (not needed for future renewals): INCOME Show combined average monthly income of:
RM15,000 (couple) or RM10,000 (single) in the last 3 months (salary, pension, dividends, rent, interest, etc.)

OR

LIQUID FUNDS Show total liquid assets of:
RM200,000 (couple) or RM100,000 (single) in the last 3 months (bank accounts, stocks, investments, etc.) 		Before or after submission (bank account to be opened when in Sarawak):

Place RM500,000 fixed deposit in a Malaysian bank.
After 1 year, 50% can be withdrawn (terms & conditions apply).

Important points to consider:

  • Ten (10) Years Renewable.
  • Minimum 30 days stay per year in SARAWAK by main applicant spouse but can stay anywhere in MALAYSIA
  • Approval may take between 4-6 Months
  • Medical Insurance done before submission if in SARAWAK
  • VISA fee at RM500 per person year
  • RM5,000 Government processing fees
